Why I Made This Stamp

I made this stamp in response to some very hateful art and stamps that were being made about Mormons here on DA. I tried to put in principles that were true (or are supposed to be true) for all those in the LDS faith.
One of the biggest stereotypes about us, however, seemed to be a lack of tolerance for others. This stamp was made with that in mind. I AM LDS, AND I RESPECT OTHERS.
Maybe you have met or heard about a Mormon who was cruel or judgmental, but I am asking you to get to know me, and others like me, for who we are, not for who they were. Get to know my religion based on facts, not on something you saw on TV or read in a hateful internet chat room.
Your religion, lifestyle, race, gender, sexual orientation, IQ, appearance... it doesn't matter to me. My respect is based on actions, and I believe anyone can to do good things.
I am not ashamed of being who I am, and you should not be ashamed either!
Let's celebrate all our similarities and differences together!
